Frequently Asked Questions
where are you located?
My studio is located in rural Bridgeton, Indiana.
when should i book my session?
For maternity sessions, I recommend booking at the end of your 2nd trimester. They are best photographed between 35-37 weeks so this ensures that you're able to get on my calendar right away. For newborns, I recommend booking your session BEFORE you've given birth. For baby (milestone) and family sessions, I recommend getting in touch 1-2 months in advance, especially during the busy fall and winter seasons.
what is required to book my session?
A non-refundable retainer in the amount of half the total service fee + a signed session agreement reserves your session date and time. The balance is due on session day.
Do i need to bring anything to my session?
Just you, your family (if they are participating), and your little one! If you cloth diaper or formula feed, I recommend you bring those as well, but generally I have everything else here in the studio that you would need. I want you to be as comfortable as possible when you're here so I try to keep my studio well stocked with the essentials.
Do you have props?
I do, but I like to keep it simple. You are more than welcome to use any props, clothing, or accessories that I have here in the studio for your session. If you have something special like a family heirloom that you would like to include, you are welcome to bring it along with you.
what is the best way to contact you?
The easiest way to get in touch with me is by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, you are more than welcome to give me a call or text me at 765-832-2853.
am i able to print the photos on my own?
Of course! I give unlimited printing rights that allow you to print any images of your session for personal use so that you can print wherever and whenever you wish.
Do you offer any type of discounts or incentives?
Returning clients receive special perks like priority booking and access to exclusive products and promotions.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and PayPal. If you pay through PayPal, financing is also available.
what kinds of poses do you do?
I'm a firm believer in baby-led posing, meaning that I keep poses natural and I only do the poses that your baby will easily go into. Your baby's safety is my #1 concern during your session. I would much rather keep your baby happy and safe than take a risk trying out a pose I'm not comfortable with.
how many people can participate?
Space is limited in my studio, so for newborn sessions, I allow immediate family only (parents + siblings). Milestone sessions are short and sweet so they are for baby only. Maternity and Family sessions are outdoors where we have lots of room so I allow up to six members of your immediate family.
